Hooked up car radio for $5 a month as a new customer, got sold a radio I can't use, and the bill went to $40 a month, then got disconnected from my car.

Cancel service

I want to cancel my subscription. I no longer have the vehicle, so I don't need the subscription. Lots of choices for every taste of music and sports, as well as newscasts and comedy.

Annual letter quadrupling fee; cancelling service for ‘fake’ season

Every year SiriusXM sends a letter telling customers the radio/music service theyre paying about $8/month for is going up to $29/month. Customers who dont fight that, find the new rate automatically charged.

Also, SiriusXM cancelled my service and after several attempts to get an answer they said Your bank cancelled the service.

In checking, the bank laughed and said it would never do that, and hasnt got the authority to do that. When told the banks reply, the SiriusXM story charged to there was something wrong with your credit card. Asked what specifically, there was no answer. My card is used weekly to pay suppliers, stores and none have ever had a problem.

My next step is to contact the Canadian CEO Mark Redmond. Im guessing others have had billing problems with and lack of answers from SiriusXM.

Disappointment

So, I e-mailed them, still waiting for a response.

It was regarding a contest they were in charge of..I needed to verify information. When I called after being on and off on hold I was told to email care@***.ca for assistance..I did..got a confirmation email that it went through and they would contact me within 24hrs.

3 days later I tried the chat as I had emailed the care address twice with no response back ever.

Chat told me as well that they could not help with it. No one ever got back to me or responded to many emails.

I called customer service 3 days ago..they stated they cannot help me i need to email care@***.ca explaining my need for help re grey cup contest. I sent email on oct 23rd.

I got confirmation that they received it and will contact me within 24hrs. Next day..still no response so i emailed care@ again pleading for a response..still no response.

I tried the chat option for customer support and they also saud they cannot help me..that i will get an email. Its now sat oct25th 746pm...the contest is closed in 3 days!!!

User's recommendation: Unfortunately if you need help with a contest or sweepstake that Siriusxm.ca is offering..they do not help..they don't respond to your request via email either.

Billing on the same bill I got a charge for 2395 for my monthly use and I got a bill for $1074 for I don’t know what this is upsetting and outrageous

The agent from pissed was useless. The phone cut off and he did not call me back.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. My Sirius subscription rate was increased by four times without my agreement and was charged to my account.

After filing a report with my bank and with PissedOffConsumer, Sirius credited my account with the difference between the new, unauthporized rate and my current rate.

No communication was received from Sirius about this credit. Filethe issue with your bank, keep an email trail of your communication to Sirius as evidence of your efforts and post on PissedOffConsumer as a warning to others.

Sirius sent a letter advising my monthly rate would increase by about three times. I emailed and explicitly said I do not agree to billed the new rate.

Continue with previous rate.

Sirius billed at the much higher rate.

I have disputed the charge with my credit card bank and await resolution.

The company does this annually and when called in my experience will extend the 'promotional rate' - about $8/month - for another year rather than have a customer cancel. Email communication declining the new rate seem to be ignored or response delayed, possibly purposefully.

User's recommendation: It appears Sirius will delay action on instructions until after a higher rate is billed forcing a customer to dispute the charge. Phone Sirius to complain or cancel. The time emailing and disputing non-agreed to charges is aggravating and non-productive.

I need a reboot as I cannot get anything. It happens every now and again but it has been awhile now and all Siri’s does it is give me a reboot.

What more can I say - all I need is a reboot and everything will be fine again!
